New baby shopping

Everyone enjoys the little bundle of joy when he’s brought home, and you know he will enjoy that nice expensive cradle he will spend his nights in. But do you really need all those “extras”? At the time when a baby is about to arrive almost every mother wants to go out and get the best of the best. I’m not saying that’s not what you should do, but keep it down at first. You will not need an exersaucer, and a jumper. Only one of these should be bought since they take up so much room, and the baby will get the same activities from both. Instead of buying a full swing and a travel swing, try just the travel swing. It has the same features of the full swing, with the added bonus of easy portability.
Better yet, just buy the bare basics at first, and if you have a friend with a baby a few months older, then ask if your little one can try the gear out. This way you save the trouble of having to return both that jumper and the exersaucer because your little one liked the rattling frog best.
